I made these for my classroom. I wanted to have a consistent cursive font throughout the entire classroom that would act as a model for the children. (Please see attached photos)

Activities created for my class when we studied this brilliant funny book in Literacy. The children loved it!
These include;
*a scaffolded planning sheet for writing a letter from Duncan to the Crayons
*An example letter to share with the class
*a simple newspaper report
*character trait worksheets
*a scaffolded planning sheet for writing a postcard from a missing crayon.
(This is based on the follow up book The Day the Crayons came Home)

Print out each page on different card and cut out. The parts fit together to form an alien. All the children need to add is their own design of underpants. then you can write poems or stories to place on the alien body. (see photo) Makes a great class display. Children loved making pizzas at our Italian pizza class. Resources have been exported from an Activ-primary flip-chart. (Which also includes Italian Pizzeria style music.) Fun to play when the children are making their pizzas or working. If you would like original please message me.
